- Work / careers form submissions — name, contact details, and information you choose to share about your suitability for work with us.
Information collected automatically

- Server logs — our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard access logs including IP address, request timestamp, and user-agent, for security and abuse prevention.
3. Why we use your data and our lawful basis
We process personal data only where we have a lawful basis under UK GDPR:
- Responding to enquiries and providing quotes — lawful basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in operating our business (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Providing cleaning services once instructed — lawful basis: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
- Recruitment and onboarding — lawful basis: legitimate interest and, where required (e.g. right-to-work checks), legal obligation.
- Site analytics and improvement — lawful basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Security, fraud prevention, and abuse handling — lawful basis: legitimate interest.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers we need to operate this website and our business, each under contract and subject to data-protection obligations:
- Resend — delivers transactional emails (e.g. when you submit a quote form). Data passed: name, email, message content.
- Google (Google Analytics) — analytics, only if you have accepted analytics cookies. Data passed: anonymised usage data.
- Vercel — hosting and infrastructure. Data passed: standard server-log information.
- HMRC, regulators, and authorities — where we are required to share data by law.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers (notably Google and Vercel) may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, the transfer is covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, an Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision recognised by the UK government.
6. How long we keep data
- Unconverted enquiries (no quote progressed) — up to 24 months from last contact, then deleted.
- Active and former customer records — up to 7 years after the end of the relationship, in line with HMRC record-keeping requirements.
- Analytics data — retained per Google Analytics defaults (currently 14 months), then automatically deleted.
- Server logs — retained per Vercel's standard retention (typically 30 days).
7. Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you (right of access)
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data (right to rectification)
- Ask us to delete your data (right to erasure), where applicable
- Restrict or object to our processing of your data
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
To exercise any of these rights, email info@luxeloomcleaning.co.uk. We will respond within one calendar month.

8. How we protect data
Personal data is stored on access-controlled systems and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Internal access is limited to authorised personnel who need it to perform their role.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on the site. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
10. Employees and contractors
If you work for us, our separate Employee Privacy Notice sets out how we handle employee personal data. You can request a copy from info@luxeloomcleaning.co.uk.
